Tall Dark and Handsome.

Tall, Dark, and Handsome
Ain’t the word,
Adjectives don’t make a man,
Life Experiences, Intellect, and some good….
He….he…..he…..

Hand holders,
Body cuddlers,
Politicking in his pimpin,
Smilin and wild’n
Laugh’n and assin’

Don’t be afraid to touch,
But knows when to touch,
How to touch,
Where to touch,
And most importantly
Why we touch.

Where is he?
Where could he be?
Is he in ole tall, dark, and handsome?
Maybe.
Or maybe, he lies therein
In what looks to be a bum,
A pot of gold in him,
Maybe.

What happened to the man?
That enjoyed that,
Homecooked meal,
Longing to go on long trips,
Just riding in the whip,
Destination, unknown
Destined to matter not,
Until we got,
There.

When did he leave?
When did providing for,
Take top priority to
Providing for?
When do we go from
Here?
Mama’s Boys,
DuffleBag Boys,
Errand Boys,
Punk little boys,
Unh-uh,
Don’t want,
Don’t want,
Don’t want.

Females remember,
The pillow list,
And what we end up with,
A piece of shit!

So here,
Yes here,
In this skin,
In this sin,
In this little apartment,
At this window,
Looking out,
Waiting, for the blind MAN
To find his way to me,
And then,
Only then,
Will I let down my long
Hair.

Blind of,
And appreciative of,
All this intellect,
This expanse of brown earth,
This shifty girth,
The flaws of all,
The flaws of me,
The flaws of you.

Not sharing my mirror.

Tall, Dark and Handsome?
I’ll pass.
